The RMC Abbigail Cowbrough Mess Kit Award was created in 2021 in cooperation between Mrs. Tanya Cowbrough (Mother), Ms. Taura Lee (Owner of B’Spoke Apparel), Capt Taylor Pratte (friend & RMC co-graduate of Class of 2018) and the current RMC Chaplain Team. This newly created award is to honor the memory of SLt Abbigail Cowbrough who was a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada (class of 2018, Computer Science) by donating a free Mess Kit each year to a deserving 4th year graduating cadet.
Graduating cadets from all branches of the military were considered. We are happy to announce the first winner of this award: Yichuan Xu. B’Spoke Apparel is proud to contribute towards honoring Abbigail’s memory. This award will be handed out annually. We look forward to donating Mess Kit uniforms for years to come.
